Putting you in the picture: Someone Once Told me comes to Passionate Media

Soul WHAT'S the most inspiring, fun, or profound thing that anyone ever told you?

On Wednesday, May 13, we can help you tell the world!

Photographer Mario Cacciottolo from the wonderful Someone Once Told Me website is coming to our offices to take pictures to add to his stunning collection.

SOTM chronicles things that we've heard in our lives, messages and expressions that have stuck in our  head, for reasons both obvious and odd.

We've already lined up some willing volunteers to be pictured and hope you can consider joining in too.

Perhaps someone once told you that you could do better at school or that you should behave in a more fitting manner.

Or maybe they told you you're a brilliant parent, a great mentor or a pain in the neck.

Whatever the message, please get in touch if you would like to know more.
DreamsMario adds on SOTM: "The people who pose often tell the story behind the message, which enriches the moment of its capture, making it a complete and often moving human document.

"The messages are always diverse, but the uniformity of styling points to the universality of this need to pass on messages. So the site deals with deep human instincts, captured visually, and broadcast to the world via the internet.

"One really, truly important purpose for this site is that it can gather SOTMs from elsewhere around the world – anywhere, everywhere, and the places in between. That way it becomes an anthropological account of people in different parts of the world, an account of what they've been told there, and how that compares to where you are reading the message they have chosen to pass on."
How brilliant is that?
We're inviting you along from 3pm and are laying on some food.
We hope you can consider joining us for an interesting, fun and creative event that will have a lasting legacy.
