Short stories

I am the director of a small Midlands agency contributing features to the national media as well as commercial writing work.

I am also a media trainer and experienced newspaper editor.

My book, The Greatest Freelance Writing Tips in the World, was published in October 2007 and Divorce, The Essential Guide for Parents, will be published in the autumn of 2008.

The stories on these pages are a work in progress.

Some are entirely for fun. Some will be for children and some for grown-ups. The adult ones are part of a collection I would like to call "I wish my wife was this dirty."

But I don't want you to get the wrong idea about me!

The characters in these stories are strong, loving, humourous women. I hope you like them.

I love it when people tell me that something here made them laugh and I appreciate all feedback.

Because these stories are works in progress, I welcome all comments, however frank or "constructive."

Comments are not only welcome but positively encouraged! As earlier versions of some of these stories have seen the light of day previously on a blog about family life, I have carried over some of the comments originally posted there too.
